Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. We inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. We also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.
As we were previously recognised by Ofsted as being a ‘good’ school, Ofsted carried out a one day short inspection in June 2018 The purpose of a short inspection was to determine whether the school continues to provide a good standard of education and whether safeguarding is effective. There are 4 possible outcomes:
The result of the November 2019 inspection was ‘Outcome 2’. This is the best possible outcome from a one-day Ofsted inspection. This means that Ofsted will come back and carry out a full 2-day inspection, usually within one to two years.
Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including:
If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.
The questionnaire can be completed at any time – you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.Click Here
